Wound Healing Journey

A 66-year-old patient, presented with a complex abdominal wound after surgery for mesenteric ischemia. Initially measuring 10x6.5x2.5 cm with infection and tissue damage, her treatment plan included amniotic allografting, UltraMIST therapy and advanced dressings.

Through consistent use of allografting and UltraMIST treatments, her wound size reduced to 0.1x0.1x0.1 cm. The photos capture her impressive healing journey—from a challenging post-surgical wound to near-complete healing in around 12 weeks.
