Victory Wound Care ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have under Texas law. Protected health information you share with us as a patient is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA and the Texas Medical Records Privacy Act, and is not the subject of this website policy.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: when you submit a form or contact us, we collect details such as your name, phone number, email address, insurance carrier, and any information you choose to share about a wound or a patient.
- Automatically collected information: like most websites, we may collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, verify benefits, and coordinate care.
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request or scheduled care.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and services.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not process it for targeted advertising. We may share it with your healthcare providers and with our service providers (such as scheduling, hosting, and communications vendors) as needed to deliver care and operate our business, and as required by law.
Your Texas privacy rights
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives Texas residents certain rights over personal data that is not otherwise exempt (for example, information already protected as PHI under HIPAA is exempt and is addressed in our Notice of Privacy Practices). For non-exempt personal data we control, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access it;
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
- Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained;
- Obtain a portable copy of personal data you provided; and
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling.
To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@victorywoundcare.com or 737-667-5566. We will respond as required by law. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if your appeal is denied, you may contact the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
Data security and breach notification
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a breach of sensitive personal information, we will notify affected individuals as required by the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act (Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 521) and other applicable law.
